BEST BUYS OF 2012: Actually, 2012 has been real sucky shopping wise. But here you have two things I wouldn't be able to live without!
BOYY bag. I am honestly not really wearing anything else these days.

Nike roshe sneaks. I am never getting rid of these. Best thing for my feet ever!

ITEMS I CRAVED IN 2012:
The Christian Louboutin Bis Un Bout pump, preferably in red. Have you seen that shoe? I still die!

MOVIES I ENJOYED IN 2012:
Intouchables. So amazing! Have you seen it?

HIGH POINTS OF 2012: I don't think I've ever traveled as much as I did in 2012. In January I went to Hong Kong, in February a short trip to Paris, June I headed to a few Greek islands with some of my best friends, and in July I was reunited with some amazing people in Chicago. In August I joined my family on a beautiful trip to Italy, and lastly I went on a short trip to Berlin with my parents in December.
My plans are that 2013 will be just as exiting on that front.

DOWN POINT OF 2012: Part of spring was really tough due to my brother getting assaulted.

SONG OF 2012: The Lumineers - Ho Hey. This song really reminds me of my time spend in Chicago and my friends there.

Today I passed an exam. Phew! Vacationtime for three weeks! Yay!

MOVIE OF 2010: A Single Man

Thursday, November 4, 2010

IT SEEMS I've a thing for this color of light pink, huh?
First Rihanna, now this little TV spot for Martini. I see it EVERY time I go to the movies,
and every time I love it just as much as the last time.
I almost want to taste it? Maybe not.. I've a feeling it tastes crap!

OK - bed time! I am so so tired..

DOESN'T THIS JUST look absolutely ah-mazing!!
I loved "Slumdog Millionaire" and this looks just as good.
Plus I luuuurve James Franco.

And while we're at it: watch THIS as well. Isn't JD just fabulous?

I am SO exhausted. It's 10.30 PM and I already feel ready to sleep.
I had to meet at work at 9 AM today for a meeting, so the whole day has passed in a blink of an eye.
NEED TO SLEEP .. PRONTO!

AU REVOIR!

A SINGLE MAN. One of the best movies I've watched in 2010 was definitely A Single Man.
Besides the obvious amazing-ness of the movie, I really loved:
1. Aline Weber. How pretty is one aloud to be?
2. The dudes white ensemble. SO COOL!

I've gotten some sort of throat infection, so have had the meanest throat pains today.
Plus some fever (I think), headache and pain in all of my body. Crazy shit!
So right now I'm in my bed while I'm watching Vampire Diaries. Yeeeah, not really my thing, but I'll try.

ACROSS THE UNIVERSE. Such an easy day today. I'm working on the costumes for the school musical,
which this year is a version of the movie musical Across The Universe, so we're watching it right now.
Such a good movie! And Jim Sturgess is such a BABE!

HAVE A GREAT MONDAY.

YEAR OF 2009. So here we go - Be aware that a major picture storm is heading near you.

BEST DRESSED OF THE YEAR: Freida Pinto at the Oscars wearing John Galliano.
I was literally blown away by this look. That girl is mesmerizing and that dress is out of this world.

RUNNER UPS: I couldn't limit myself to only a few looks, so you're getting a lot in random order.
(Note that it's Joy Bryant's look, third from left, I'm crazy about)

STYLE ICON OF THE YEAR: Diane Kruger - she blew me away with everything she wore.
I don't think I've even seen her wearing any bad outfits.

RUNNER UPS: Freida Pinto, Zoe Saldana and Dasha Zhukova, who as well as Diane had amazing consistency.
Furthermore I found myself falling in love with pretty much everything Jessica Stroup from 90210 has worn,
so she's my Teen style icon of the year.

CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR: Moschino S/S 09 ads. These ads were adorable and pretty.
For me smiles, quirkiness and color is what sells.

EDITORIAL OF THE YEAR: Sasha Pivovarova in Paris Vogue June/July, Love makes the world go round, ph. by Bruce Weber. SO CUTE!!
RUNNER UP: Natasha Poly in Paris Vogue October, BB, ph. by Mario Sorrenti.
ITEM OF THE YEAR: Dior S/S 09 Deesse sandals, that I unfortunately wasn't able to afford.
This lucky blogger has not one, but two pairs of these amazing sandals.
I'm still hoping, that they will magically appear on Ebay at a ridiculously good price.
RUNNER UP: CHANEL S/S 09 bow booties. Soooo cute, but also so unaffordable.

BEST BUY OF THE YEAR: Definitely this pair of Christian Louboutin. They're a few seasons old,
but I've worn them again and again, and never tire of them.

MOVIE OF THE YEAR: Slumdog Millionaire - Without a doubt hands down the best movie of the year - even the decade, man!
RUNNER UPS: Sherlock Holmes and Avatar (for the amazing 3D experience only).

SONG OF THE YEAR: George Michael - Faith. For some reason it's the only song,
that comes to mind. It really sets my soul (my feet more likely) on fire. Amazing song!
Actually this year I found that old music is much more appealing than contemporary music.

HIGH POINT OF THE YEAR: All the traveling I did.
The Alps, France with my high school in February, Rome, Italy in March with partly my class and partly my mother,
Sardinia, Italy in July with the family, Crete, Greek in August with the girls, Brussels, Belgium in September with the class
and Paris, France in October with the family.
All in all 6 amazing trips. And to quite H.C. Andersen "To travel is to live".

DOWN POINT OF THE YEAR: My mother's trouble with the heart.

ANYWAYS - I'm over and out. If you read until this point, I thank you.
Oh, and please let me know, what your list is. :D
TAKE CARE & CHEERS.
BOX. Guess what's in the box? Pictures of the amazing piece inside will have to wait until tomorrow,
since I can't at all get a decent shot of the colors.

I've just watched A Good Year with mama, and I think I'll start my best of 2009-thingy now,
so stay tuned if you're interested. :)

CIAO.

LAID BACK. My friend S made me this dress/shirt-thingy. It's totally shapeless, but the perfect dress for slacking around at home.
Though I actually wore this to the movies with the parents. We saw Avatar, and it was amazing.
The story was rather bad, but the whole adventure and the 3D experience was absolutely amazing.
Oh, and Sam Worthington? I SO wouldn't mind.

I'm wearing: Dress made by friend, J.Brand jeans, Converses sneakers, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag and random scarf.
I love brand new sneakers. When I was younger I always thought that dirty sneakers was coolest,
and now the whiter the better.

GOERGE. I have a little thing for George Clooney.
I don't find him particular hot - actually he's more the marshmallow kind of guy, you know.
But I kind of think he's a very sweet guy if you get to know him.
And look at this interview with the girl from Twilight - I think he sounds like a sweet dude.
Yeah, I know - me and George we will totally be like this in .. say 5 years? :P

Anyways - when I saw this trailer I knew I had to see it with my Grandma,
cause fun story is - she looooves him. I gave her a calendar last year of him. Can you believe it?

Oh, and I only post crap like this when I have nothing else to post.
TAKE CARE.

L'ICONE. Speaking of "The September Issue", this ed from French Vogue is just kinda rad.
Oh, and did I mention that you should totally go and watch the movie?
Totally changed my view on Anna Wintour!
