FROSTING. I've done absolutely NADA today, but now I'm totally hooked on "Canada's Next Top Model".

I mean, God knows I'm all for supermodel/topmodel everything. I watch the American and Australian edition

of both Top Model and Make Me A Supermodel .. and now the Canadian edition. 

I kinda don't know why I watch "America's Next Top Model" since it's crap. So when I started watching the Canadian edtion

I was quite skeptic, but it only lasted shortly, since the pictures and ideas are quite good,

and I'm watching episode 4 now, and guess who's a guest? Irina Lazareanu. Why on earth doesn't the American edition

EVER feature models like her? But the haircuts? Oh, can't they ever make the look model-y?

PS. Am I the only one who can't stand Nigel Barker? You might ask "who?",

cause I've honestly never seen any of his work outside of topmodel.

But I'm just always really surprised about his faves and his comments. Like .. I'm never really agreeing with him.

I'm almost thinking he doesn't have a clue about what he's talking about, but he probably has .. sort of.

I've just eaten the most delicious dinner. Fish with cucumber, asparagus, peas and potatoes. 

And then strawberries for desert. YUM!

DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME. There were some real pretty sundowns on Sardinia.

Unfortunately all these mountains kept coming in the way. It was pretty nonetheless. 

I'm soon off to the vacation house for 3 weeks (!!), but I dearly hope I'll get some days back home in the middle of it.

HOMESWEETHOME. We landed in the airport around 1 AM yesterday (or today?) .. So I didn't get to sleep until 3 AM.

The vacation was real nice, although the island itself was fairly disappointing.

I had read a lot about the beach in the first two pictures: Spiaggia della Pelosa, 

and when we got there I was just shocked. How many people is actually OK on a beach? That water .. ew!

So we headed a little south and found this other lovely beach (last two pictures). The water was real pretty.

Anyways, today was spend with my faves, C&C, and I only just recently got home.

ROSES. This is the most beautiful rose currently living in my garden.

It comes back every year, and I actually also took pictures of it last year.

It's really amazing to see, how much my photographing skills have evolved, just by comparing two pictures of a rose.

BEAUTY. I've never shown this beauty box to you. 

I rarely shop vintage, but whenever I see vintage Dior I just need to have it.

This is definitely one of the greater pieces I've seen. I've gotten myself a little collection now, actually.

2 belts, 2 bags and a wallet (passed on from my mama) and then this. I really dig it.

UPDATE. Hi guys. I've actually had internet connection all along, but no real time to post.

The days are flying here on Sardinia, and home is getting nearer. 

Sardinia is not quite what I expected .. I guess you can say that it didn't live up to my expectations, but whatever.

I found an underwater camera in the airport, and if the pictures turn out good you'll definitely see some snaps

of what Sardinia looks like under water. I guess it's not really impressive, buut .. I like it.

Tomorrow we're going to what is known to be the best and most beautiful beach on the island,

but unfortunately I've gotten a teeny weeny bit sunburned. 

As for now, we're soon heading to dinner, and I hope it will be good. 

It seems I've done nothing but eat bresaola, pasta and drink coke. Maybe it's time for a change .. pizza and a watermelon daiquiri?

By the way - this is actually the first day I've felt good. I've had some thingy with my stomach, and

for a second I thought it was appendicitis, but I guess not.

BRAZIL. It has been a good day today. I passed the test. Woopwoop!!

Afterwards I went to Copenhagen to exchange some gifts and do some shopping,

but seriously, it was SO hot. I say SO hot when it was 30 degrees .. Imagine 37 on Sardinia. I'm going to die!!!

Then I saw a very beautiful boy that I haven't seen for over a year. Yum!

Later I'm going out to dinner with the pops and the brow, but suddenly the weather has changed,

and we're now experiencing thunder. Great!

TAKE ME TO THE WOODS. CHANEL is really wowing me lately. Though .. I'm not sure I can see the collection

in the ad, but anyways. The clothes look absolutely stunning, and I want to go out and buy a CHANEL jacket so bad.

COFFETABLEBOOKS. I'm so into coffetablebooks it's insane.

Over the last 2 years I've gotten myself a pretty amazing collection,

if I must say so myself. This is a look into the collection, with the absolute best:

1. FASHION: 

Mary-Kate & Ashley's "Influence"-book, that I actually haven't really had the time to dig into yet,

and "The Fashion questionnaire" with questions to all the amazing designers out there.

The "CHANEL - Collections and creations" is so beautiful. I so want to have my hair like this.

One of the first I got, though, was this "Gucci BY GUCCI: 85 years of Gucci"-book.

It's really one of the most amazing book I've ever looked in. 

2. PHOTOGRAPHERS:

Tim Walker always amazes me with his picture, so my book collection wouldn't be complete without "Tim Walker - Pictures".

The first "coffetablebook" I got was the "Mario Testino - LET ME IN!", 

and I actually bought it in the booksection of the Armani flagship store in Milano. A seriously great store for men!

The "FRONT ROW MARIO TESTINO"-book is not quite as good, but there's some pretty interesting pictures in there as well.

3. MUSIC. 

The "Rolling Stones: Images of rock & roll" has such great rock images!

4. NATURE:

It wasn't until recently I realized how amazing naturerelated books are. 

The "100 places to remember before they disappear" book is SO great. You'll definitely find some places you just HAVE to visit.

And furthermore I really realized how amazing the world is.

And "Visions of paradise" is very good as well considering the low price.

If you're from Denmark it's definitely a great idea to buy all your books 

(definitely the hardcover ones like these) over amazon.co.uk, cause it's SO MUCH cheaper.

Let's just take the Tim Walker book: Some places in Denmark it costs up to 170 pounds,

whereas you can get it for 52 pounds (including sending). Pretty insane, right?

Anyways - I'm off for some more studying. And later it's dinner at my brother's with the family.

1. Balenciaga - Pretty, pretty love this. I'm pretty hooked on the amazing purple-ish floral pattern.

2. Ellie Tahari - I'm still hunting the perfect black dress. Seems like freaking impossible. 

3. Gucci - I've talked about the curse of Gucci before, and this time was no exception.

It kind of puzzled me that the babydoll dress is back, but I think I like it.

4. Jonathan Saunders - I like the idea of a simple black dress with a big scarf, so the scarf kinda takes the spotlight. 

 

 

 

5. Lanvin - Who knew Alber could go all street? Love it!

6. Louis Vuitton - The sheer effect in the end of the dress is kinda wicket.

 

7. Marc Jaccobs - Everyone seems to be inspired by Chanel nowadays, but I like it nonetheless.

8. Marchesa - Beautiful color!

9. Matthew Williamson - I really like that you can see that Matthew W. designed the H&M collection.

The jacket on the 2nd picture looks like the leather and cowboy jacket from the H&M collections,

and the turquoise skirt is actually quite similar to the skirt from the collection as well.

10. Moschino - Laid back and beautiful.

11. Oscar de la Renta - Love it!

 

12. Preen - Laid back and beautiful. x2

13. Rachel Roy - Love that two totally different patterns work so great together.

14. Richard Chai - Great pattern!

15. Roberto Cavalli - Please tell me that pastel colors are coming back instead of those awful neon ones!

HUH?. This came as a shock for me, guys. I actually (!!) like this ad for Louis Vuitton starring Madonna.

Madonna is my favorite celebrity to hate. Not only do I hate her music, she also dresses like crap

and is not at all aware of what to wear when you've passed 50. Not a good combi, I tell you.

I guess the extreme photoshopping did tricks with her this time, and well, I actually quite like the whole setup.

SNACKS. Every now and then I go through Models.com's ranking of the 50 top models.

Of course the list is packed with eyecandy, but this time was really rather sad, seeing that my fave

(and by the way, one of the most gorgeous men in the entire world), Mathias Lauridsen (click, click)

 was down at number 10 (!!!) and that Eddie Klint (click) was pretty far down as well.

Plus that shitface (sorry) Babtiste was now number 1. Karl may know how to design clothes,

but he has the most horrible taste in male models. Brad Koenig? Really? Is that the best you can do?

Anyways - As I went through the list (and clicking through numerous other pages) I found the hunks,

and I just though that I just might share them with you.

Let's just start out with the hottie, Jamie Dornan. He just ooze sex, and is drop dead gorgeous.

 

But these two: Laurent Albucher and Clark Mellon is pretty okay as well. As in "oh my god, I think I'm going to faint".

Plus Clark Mellon really does look like someone my mother would ADORE. Uh, and the charm .. THE charm.

Yesterday evening was spend with my best friend, C, in the amusement park, Tivoli,

for a concert with the danish band Veto. It was such a great evening, and she is seriously the best in the world.

Today I swung by Copenhagen with daddy to run some errands, and now I'm off for N's birthday.

CALIFORNIA GIRL. These photos of Natasha Poly from Vogue UK April 2005 are absolutely stunning.

Back when Natasha still had a milligram of fat on that bony ass (and body), and well .. looked beautiful and healthy.

It saddens me so much to see the transformation for girls like her. As she lost weight, she got more jobs,

but I can at all see the appeal in her now. Sadsad thing.

Anyways - I've spend the day with Bennyhops, So good to finally catch up with her, 

though we almost died of the heat. Definitely not the weather to go shopping.

Now I've just been out to dinner with brow and pops, and soon I'm heading to bed.

Resort 2010 #1

RESORT. I've totally forgotten to post pictures from Resort 2010, and I guess they're out on every blog now,

but I think it's really nice to look back at. Did you have any favorites?

1. 3.1 Phillip Lim - I always love Phillip Lim's collection, because it's so wearable. 

It's not necessarily high fashion and out there, but I love it anyway.

2. Alexander Wang - If it wasn't because Abbey's legs look so AWEFUL, I would probably have chosen some more looks.

But it's SO distraction .. isn't it?

3. Adam - Oh, I love the detail on the shoulder.

4. Brian Reyes - This froral print is killing me with it's amazingness. 

 

 

5. Burberry Prorsum - Those pants are so great. The fabric looks so nice and soft.

But other than that, I pretty much think I like the collection .. I never really LOVE Burberry, but like it.

 

 

 

6. Chanel - Karl blew me away with this collection. He's finally back on track with beautiful makeup, 

instead of model looking like they're on crack. Anyways - the collection was really beautiful, and it stuns me how he can 

always take the classic pieces and just make them modern EVERY season. And the shoes on the last two pictures? I DIE!

7. Chris Benz - Look at sweet Laurel. Amazing, amazing!

 

 

8. Diane von Furstenberg - So beautiful. Freaking love the patterns and fabrics. Specially those purple-ish pants. Oh my!

Today has been spend with mama in Copenhagen for some gift exchanging.

or whatever, and people usually go to watch a fire somewhere because .. I honestly don't know.

And I also realized, how bad my J.Brand jeans fits me. I think .. maybe, I've lost weight, or something similar.

Now I'm out in the sun preparing my white stomach for the sun, since I'm leaving for Sardinia in about a week.

LATE NIGHT SHOPPING. I did the thing you're not supposed to do after 12.01 AM. I visited ASOS,

to claim my birthday present, the total of 10£.

And I found these two items and thought "what the hell?", proceeded all the stages, and whatever,

only to discover that my little birthday treat only worked when spending over 50£. WHY?

Anyways - I bought it anyway for the total of 18£. Pretty well spend money, don't you think?

And everyone needs to give themselves a nice little birthday present, no?

BUT - cause there's always a but - after I proceeded all stages I saw that the pants are highwaisted ..

... silence .. I'm not sure I even like highwaisted jeans, and I'm totally sure they will look amazing on my waist,

and then not so amazing on my legs. AH, well see, they costed 10£, so I'll might live anyway .. 

and I probably can't fit into them anyway, being a size 6 and all. 

OKAY - NIGHTY NIGHT. 

I'm so looking forward to heading to bed. I've just gotten a new pillow, and man, does a pillow make a different.

Then we went and bought a million stuff for my cocktail party on Saturday, and in just a bit I'm going for

Anyways - I started the day with some gifts:

A digital photoframe, that I had wished for, and FINALLY, the Tim Walker book, I've wished for for over a year.

And then I got a ring, that I sort of designed myself, but it won't be arriving until next week.

Well .. then I went to school to that french exam, and afterwards me and D 

went to Copenhagen to eat lunch, shop and watch a movie. 

We watched the danish movie "Sorte Kugler", and now I've just been out to dinner with the fam,

where I got A LOT of money from one grandmother and a diamond bracelet plus a jewelry box by the other.

Next saturday I'm throwing a party for the closest friends and family .. which is around 40 people,

so looots of gifts.

Okay, I'm off again for "Australia's Next Top Model".

Exam hell

TO HELL AND BACK. The french hell begins NOW and ends tomorrow at around 10. 

24 hours of non stop french in my mind is .. ridiculous. 

Mama is coming home in just a sec to help me with the text I've got,

but we have some craftsmen doing something in the basement, and they're making insane noise. 

Oh, and yeah, I'm dead tired. I can do this, I can do this.

It's just about keeping my eyes on the price, and whatever, everyone have tried exam hell. And everyone survived.

THE NEW WAY. The new way of doing outfit posts .. well .. 

This was sort of cheesy-teeny-playing around in the garden stuff I did with two friends,

but whatever ,, it'll do. 

I'm wearing: Gina Tricot t-shirt, Topshop jeans and Marc by Marc Jacobs sandals.

The wedding yesterday was SO beautiful and I was so happy to be a part of it.

It was an outdoor-thingy under an huge beautiful tree. 

Only minus being that my 14 cm Louboutin's didn't really work in grass,

and when I tried to snap some beautiful pictures I just kept on sinking lower and lower.

I ended up getting around 5 hours of sleep before heading to brunch today, 

and I swear I'm dying with tiredness, so I'm thinking bed at 9 PM? :D

The begging of an era

GREEN & GOLD. These Marc by Marc Jacobs sandals was the first pair of designer shoes I got,

and they marked a whole new beginning - the shoe obsession. But I still love them dearly and try to use them as much

as possible .. when the weather is good.

And speaking of the weather - ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? It's kind of insane .. really.

It's been raining NON STOP the last few days, and not just rain, it has literally been pissing down.

Today I was out for lunch with my favorite C&C, and after I walked .. 20 meters I was soaked.

for mit vedkommende gummistøvler, ved siden af Eva Kruse, i Balmain frynse-støvlerne (surprise!),

og Susanne Bjerrehus, der bondede totalt. Er det bare mig eller var vi bare en petit smule malplacerede? I think so.

A touch of color

A TOUCH OF COLOR. I post outfit posts so rarely these days. Mainly because my outfits are deadly boring.

Last week I wondered if this Matthew Williamson for H&M shirt is something I would ever wear .. to school, for example,

or wether it's mainly a party/dinner/whatever-shirt. So I tried toning it up and down a bit.

Out for dinner/drinks/party/whatever:

Casual school attire: 

Wearing: Matthew Williamson for H&M shirt, random cardi, J. Brand jeans and random sneakers.

I apologize for the kind of crap pictures. It was too late in the evening to really get a picture with good light,

but I hope you get the picture.

What do you think? Is a cardi and sneakers enough to tone the look down - or reversed - is 12 cm high 

heels enough to tone the look up? You tell me?

In about 2 hours I'm meeting I in the gym for some work-out, and later on I might catch up with mama in Copenhagen

for some birthday gift hunting. The ring I talked about costed 12500 danish kr. or 2400 US $.

Maybe a notch too much for what I think a ring should cost. Like .. for a girl my age?

Now I think .. I'll watch some TV, though I actually should read some french. Buhu!

CLASSIC. I've never been much of a Burberry-campaign girl,

specially because of Lily D and Agyness, who killed me season after season.

But this time I'm intrigued. I dearly love Emma Watson. I think she's absolutely stunning,

and definitely an english beauty, which is my impression of what a Burberry girl should be.

This campaign is not particular original, but I find it great nonetheless. 

I survived my ridiculous end-of-the-year-exam in a course called AT.

I scored a 10 or a B, if you like, so I'm definitely happy.

Next stop is my 24 hour french exam on monday and tuesday. I'm dearly hoping for an A or a B.

Now I'm soon of for some shopping with my favorite C&C and Frog.

Tomorrow I'll try to post some of the pictures that have been stacking up on my computer.
