A touch of color

A TOUCH OF COLOR. I post outfit posts so rarely these days. Mainly because my outfits are deadly boring.

Last week I wondered if this Matthew Williamson for H&M shirt is something I would ever wear .. to school, for example,

or wether it's mainly a party/dinner/whatever-shirt. So I tried toning it up and down a bit.

Out for dinner/drinks/party/whatever:

Casual school attire:

Wearing: Matthew Williamson for H&M shirt, random cardi, J. Brand jeans and random sneakers.

I apologize for the kind of crap pictures. It was too late in the evening to really get a picture with good light,

but I hope you get the picture.

What do you think? Is a cardi and sneakers enough to tone the look down - or reversed - is 12 cm high

heels enough to tone the look up? You tell me?

In about 2 hours I'm meeting I in the gym for some work-out, and later on I might catch up with mama in Copenhagen

for some birthday gift hunting. The ring I talked about costed 12500 danish kr. or 2400 US $.

Maybe a notch too much for what I think a ring should cost. Like .. for a girl my age?

Now I think .. I'll watch some TV, though I actually should read some french. Buhu!

CLASSIC. I've never been much of a Burberry-campaign girl,

specially because of Lily D and Agyness, who killed me season after season.

But this time I'm intrigued. I dearly love Emma Watson. I think she's absolutely stunning,

and definitely an english beauty, which is my impression of what a Burberry girl should be.

This campaign is not particular original, but I find it great nonetheless. 

I survived my ridiculous end-of-the-year-exam in a course called AT.

I scored a 10 or a B, if you like, so I'm definitely happy.

Next stop is my 24 hour french exam on monday and tuesday. I'm dearly hoping for an A or a B.

Now I'm soon of for some shopping with my favorite C&C and Frog.

Tomorrow I'll try to post some of the pictures that have been stacking up on my computer.

I'M OFF. I actually have a deadly lot to post, but that'll have to wait until .. I guess Wednesday,

cause I have the most ridiculous test on Wednesday, and I haven't even started studying yet. Crap, huh?

Anyways - early tomorrow I'm off for a little vacation with the family.

We're heading to Skagen, far north here in Denmark.

Daddy has to do some work and the rest of us is just tagging along,

so I probably won't post until maybe Monday, otherwise Wednesday.

Oh well, I guess I'm off again.

How did I forget how much I love "Alfie"!! Jude Law is sooo freaking hot in that movie. 

I think it's because I hate the ending so much. It's just a matter of not watching the ending then, no?

Today has been spend with S & E, supposed to do a whole lot of studying, but yeah,

you do the math. We ended up going to the movies to watch "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past".

I'm off for the lousy part of "Alfie". Maybe I should just go ahead and turn it off pronto.

THE SUN IS SHINING, THE WEATHER IS SWEET. It's like 25 degrees in Denmark today.

I'm on my way home in just a sec. And we're speaking of like .. a month and then I'm off to Sardinia. 

I actually had something to write, but BAM, I forgot.

And I still feel like that. Just the whole lace thing - I DIE! 

Every time Prada disappoints you, out comes shoes like these and you're a fan all over again.

Hmmn .. I think I need to plan which shoes to get in Paris. Hmmn .. Are you thinking Christian Louboutin for 3.1 Phillip Lim,

cause I certainly am. I'm just really counting on the to be there. Like seriously really!

The charger to my Mac totally just burned down .. I think. What's up with that?

I'm trapped here until Monday, so unless daddy brought his computer I'm kinda screwed up here .. again.

Plus I've gotten a pretty nasty cold. Heya for some good karma going my way.

Now I'll use the last of my battery. Whinewhine. Let's home it works again when it has cooled off a bit.

INFLUENCE. On our way to the vacation house, I really (as in REALLY) tried to make hints to my dear daddy

about going to Paris next fall. And it wasn't until mommy came to my rescue and said something along the lines:

"But Caroline has seen that the tickets are really cheap". And then he was sold .. of course.

So we're making our way to Paris come October. YEESS.

Oh, and then I FINALLY bought "Influence" by Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen and some other stuff on Amazon.co.uk.

The sky is so blue, but it's red all over the ground

BLUE SKIES. I just went to my old school where I spend 10 years of my life (from I was 6 'till 16),

to watch the "seniors" show. It's so funny and nostalgic to be back and to see all the teachers,

and it just woke some old feelings in me. I think I miss it .. sometimes.

Now I'm watching "Felicity" and waiting for mommy and daddy to come home,

cause I'm off for the weekend. A lot of sleeping and coziness in the vacation house. I'm hoping for some sun. :)

COLOR ON. I took these pictures yesterday, and I totally dig that the colors are so over clear.

To be honest it was the only way I could get the colors of these lovely flowers almost right. 

What do you think? Pretty or too much?

I hate when taking pictures that there's just some colors that can't transform into a photo. 

I often experience that with flowers for some reason.

Today has been spend with Fatkid 1&2 and moving all my brothers stuff into a van. 

He's moving and I was apparently chosen to be the partner in crime.

Later on I might hook up with the best C&C and L. But I've an early morning tomorrow. Bah!

DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND. I'm turning 18 in less than a month,

and my parents really wanted to give me something special.

So in a week I'm going to a client of my father (he's a lawyer) to look into the possibility of designing my own ring.

I'm going for something like these Mauboussin rings, but maybe tone it down so it's not so engagementring-ish.

I don't know if you've seen the ad for this particular ring (it's in Vogue A LOT),

but it's just sooo gorgeous, and I've had it in my inspiration map for a long time.

LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND. How cute is this editorial from Paris Vogue June/July 2009? 

When looking in magazines the smiley pictures always get me exited. 

It's just fantastic to see models smile now and then. 

Yesterday I was reallyreally tired, so the ideal day for me was to sleep 'till 11,

buuut .. I had a doctors appointment. 

Now I'm in bed with "The Hills", but I seriously need to clean my room,

cause it's SO messy! And I need to swing by the hairdresser to book an appointment

to get my eyelashes colored. That's seriously perfect that I can just get them colored instead of using makeup. :D

LIGHT MY FIRE. Oh my god!!! The weather last night was insane!

I woke up at about 03.30 AM, and it was raining, thundering and lightning.

The thunder was SO high that the house was almost shaking. Wicked!!

Photography wise I think my biggest dream is to take photos of lightning. 

I've tried, but it's very rare to see lightning without clouds as well. Buhu!

Yesterday I went to my cousins bachelorette party and it was actually very cozy and funny,

but the weather was craah-ap, and I was wet and cold when I got home.

In the evening a very bad sweet 18, so I got home early (sweet!). I had to get up early today,

to go to this crap 7 hour first aid course (you have to i Denmark if you want your drivers license).

Damn, I'm tired of saving dolls for now. :)

Tomorrow I've my almost last day of school before my "reading holiday"

and then soon SUMMER HOLIDAY!! SCORE!!

MATTHEW WILLIAMSON. You might say insane, but I say AWESOME!

Mama went nuts today, and bought practically the whole Matthew Williamson for H&M-collection.

I liked this collection MUCH more than the first. It was stunning, and when me and mama went through

the collection yesterday, I just went "And this, and this .. and this!", and she was like "I can't get it all",

but she did, and I will have to choose what to keep and what to send back. I'm lost!!!

The shorts are keepers for sho' and probably also the jeans.

The black dress with the weird pattern on picture number 1&2,

and the belt and sunglasses on picture 6 are going back.

But I'm really doubting the other items.
