I MUST SAY, this week has been really great. Friday I handed it a big school project, I have been working on for 4 months! Then sunday I went and saw The Great Gatsby that I really really liked.

But greatest of all - yesterday I went and saw this queen live. Beyonce is a goddess! WOW! I am lost for words. What an artist!

BEST BUYS OF 2012: Actually, 2012 has been real sucky shopping wise. But here you have two things I wouldn't be able to live without!
BOYY bag. I am honestly not really wearing anything else these days.

Nike roshe sneaks. I am never getting rid of these. Best thing for my feet ever!

ITEMS I CRAVED IN 2012:
The Christian Louboutin Bis Un Bout pump, preferably in red. Have you seen that shoe? I still die!

MOVIES I ENJOYED IN 2012:
Intouchables. So amazing! Have you seen it?

HIGH POINTS OF 2012: I don't think I've ever traveled as much as I did in 2012. In January I went to Hong Kong, in February a short trip to Paris, June I headed to a few Greek islands with some of my best friends, and in July I was reunited with some amazing people in Chicago. In August I joined my family on a beautiful trip to Italy, and lastly I went on a short trip to Berlin with my parents in December.
My plans are that 2013 will be just as exiting on that front.

DOWN POINT OF 2012: Part of spring was really tough due to my brother getting assaulted.

SONG OF 2012: The Lumineers - Ho Hey. This song really reminds me of my time spend in Chicago and my friends there.

Today I passed an exam. Phew! Vacationtime for three weeks! Yay!

A LITTLE BIT of what I've been doing the last month through my iPhone lens:
I've...
...eaten delicious sushi with a great friend...
..and smushies from the Royal Cafe in Copenhagen.
...visited an old abandoned movie theater with school.
...studied while drinking healthy juice.

...finally gotten my hands on The Little Black Jacket.
 ...seen tiny rainbows.
...been overseas to Malmö, where my friends bought crazy amounts of popcorn with cheese flavor.
...where we also ate at Vapiano. I've never been before, but god dammit it was delicious.
...gotten a new pair of pants from Heartmade by Julie Fagerholt.
...laughed at Gina Tricot copying Balenciaga.

...seen the awesome band Saybia live at the above beautiful setting.
...and adored this little tiny orchid.

I'M PRETTY stoked about this song at the moment: Easter Island by The Eclectic Moniker.
Give danish music some love!

IT'S BEEN some rough couple of weeks, hence the zero blogging the last two weeks.
Thursday to Monday I spend in my other home, Paris. Soso amazing to be back, and loads of shopping.
More about that later.
Tuesday to Friday I workedworkedworked. Most days I didn't get off until 20.30 PM, so I am a bit tired.

But now - it's Christmas. That's why above you have my absolute favorite christmas songs.
And that's also why I will spend the day with my family and just say:
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

JUST SOME LOVE to some Danish upcoming bands/artists. Listen and love!

JUST A FEW PICTURES from my life.
A few weeks back (woah, more than a few actually) I went to see Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I'm not that into their music anymore, but they have a really dear place in my heart.

The bottom picture is just of the fog we're experiencing here in Denmark a lot lately.
Notice how you can't even see where the sea stops and the sky begin?
I find that a bit wicked..

SOOOO The Roskilde Festival is over and out. I won't say it has been amazing, because really with a bad program
like this years, there is a long way to amazing.
But I did see some great shows and some not so great shows.
I actually didn't spend that much time at the festival, hence the very few shows:
The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Kaizers Orchestra, Kings of Leon, the danish rapper L.O.C, VETO, and parts of Bigboi and De Eneste To (The Only Two).
The only really really great concert was The Strokes that BLEW my mind! They were absolutely amazing!
The best show I've been to in around 4 years.
Can't wait to see another show, but when and where I don't know.

If you went to Roskilde what moment was your favorite?

Today I'm just chilling. I'm dead tired, so not many plans today.

CIAO.

PS. Are you guys into Kings of Leon? I'm not really, and they REALLY disappointed me live unfortunately.

I'M KINDA psyched about this song. Listen, dudes!
I SPEND Wednesday and yesterday at the Roskilde Festival with partying, drinking, no sleep, dancing and of course music.
I'm still hungover from Wednesday night, but am MAJOR exited to see the above dudes tomorrow*.
The last time I was this exited to see a band was back in December 2006 when I saw Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This was what I wrote in another blog back then after the concert:
"It was just such an fantastic concert that I won't really go more in to, because it was indescribable".
I hope I will be just as exited after the concert tomorrow.

I returned home late last night and am now at the beach house with the parents and grandmother.

*The dudes are by the way The Strokes

ONE OF THE BEST SONGS in the history of music! Freddie, Freddie, Freddie, what a voice!

Sunday, December 12, 2010

OH, FREDDY AND THE BOYS, you still rock! Loooove this song.

Woah, I am exhausted after this weekend of working and tomorrow I can look forward to 10 AM to 8 PM. Killer!

STUNNING!

My guilty pleasure (if you can call it so) is truly the British version of X Factor. I am always major exited to watch the performances,
and this week the theme was Elton John.
Great great performances that reminded me of great great Elton songs:
Do you as well watch X Factor and if so, who's your favorite? If not GO WATCH

ONE OF MY FAVORITE rock icons is definitely Slash, former Guns'n'Roses member.
I just saw him on the MTV EMA's and he is just fabulous!

I am so tired of 5 days straight of work and am feeling pretty happy not meeting earlier than 12 tomorrow = welldeserved sleep!
How are you all?

OKAY, I ADMIT IT I love this Rihanna music video. I am not a big fan of her music, but that video is RAD.
The color scheme, the flowers and even the hair. LOVE!
But oooh, I see Rihanna and her crew was a little inspired by someone I truly admire:
Mr. Tim Walker:

See the similarities between walkers picture and Rihanna's video around 3:20.
Ouch! Originality? I think not .. (still a great video though!)

I'VE A DOSEN of outfit pictures from my vacation.
As I've cropped them the quality is probably pretty bad, but they will pop up over the next days.

On this night out on Santorini I wore:
Dress from Sparkle & Fade
Bag from Chanel
Suspenders from H&M
Shoes from All Stars

I've taken the weekend away. I'm currently in the beach house with my parents.
CIAO.

PS. We've been listening a whole lot to that The Killers song in the car. I love it!

I HAD AN AMAZING DAY yesterday at a mini-festival with favorite C&C and Frog.
One of the main reasons was the above dudes from D-A-D who ended an amazing day with an amazing concert.
Watch the above video and learn why they are my all time favorite band.
I've been to numerous concerts, meet'n'greet's and so on, and I will never tire.
My first concert was at the age of 8 and I've been stuck ever since.
The above song is one of my faves that I luckyly got to listen to for the first time in 5 years!
PS. The Frog bungyjumped. INSANE!
PPS. Will you please listen to the song? You won't be disappointed!

I'M SORRY for not blogging the last few days, but I've been hung up with different things.
Yesterday I tried blogging, but my pictures wouldn't upload.

Anyway - I had a very good day at the Roskilde Festival.
I saw Jack Johnson, Kasabian and Prince and a bit of Miike Snow and The Temper Trap.
I've seen so many concerts in my short life that I'm very hard to excite and I won't say this was the best I've seen,
but it was very cozy.
The last two pictures are Jack Johnson and Kasabian, by the way.

Oh well, I'm not feeling too well. I've gotten the cold so am currently lying in my bed before I'm heading out to dinner.
TAKE CARE.

I'M GOING TO SEE THIS LITTLE DUDE this summer.
Daddy just gave me a one-day ticket for the Danish festival Roskilde.
Jack Johnson, Miike Snow, Kasabian, The National and Prince. That is a-okay.
I'm a little bummed I'm not getting to see Gorillaz, but whatevs, if Prince plays "Kiss" I'm all okay!
